Description:  The Echelon LPA Assay Kit II is a sensitive and robust method for quantification of serum LPA in a 96-well plate competitive ELISA format.

Sample Types: Serum and Plasma (human or other animal)
Sample Volume: 20 μL/sample (for duplicate points)
Assay Incubation Time: 2 hours and 30 minutes


Product Background: Lysophosphatidic Acid (LPA) is a serum-derived phospholipid involved in diverse cellular processes such as cell proliferation, chemotaxis, platelet aggregation, wound healing, angiogenesis, tumor invasion, and smooth muscle contraction. Recent research indicates LPA may play a significant role in the pathophysiology of cancer and may be used as a biomarker for ovarian cancer.
