Collagen Hybridizing Peptide - Biotin conjugate (CHP)

Catalog No.:  C-660B
MW: 2762
Purity: 95%

Collagen Hybridizing Peptide (CHP) is labeled with either carboxyfluorescein (Cat#: C-660F) for fluoroscence detection or biotin (Cat#: C-660B) for avidin/streptavidin-mediated detection. When used on minimally processed tissue samples (e.g., cryosections), it can visualize the presence of denatured collagen in pathological tissues [2]. It can also be used in place of failed collagen antibodies to detect collagen on highly processed tissue samples [3]. In addition, CHP allows direct and specific detection of collagen bands in SDS-PAGE gels without the need of western blot [3].
